Uraga Raro is a washing station located at 2000 meters above sea level in the Guji zone in the south of Ethiopia. Ethiopia has long been known to be very fertile and rich of natural resources and the area around Uraga may be especially so. Its mineral rich soil and climate gives the producers very high yielding trees with an average of 3 kilograms of coffee cherries per tree every harvest.
This coffee is beautifully structured, with a soft buttery sensation, along with its clean crisp citrus notes it almost reminds us of a glass of light Chardonnay. Paired with delicate notes of Earl Grey tea this one is going to shine both as filter coffee and espresso.
