Honduras Blanca Rosa Melgar Anaerobic Natural IHCAFE90

The farm that this coffee comes from is pretty small, only 6 ha. Since 1970 it is owned by Blanca Rose Melgar and her husband. They grow the coffee with maximal respect to the environment, that's why their coffee is 100% organic. Coffee trees grow between beehives, banana, lemon and orange trees, and many other plants, which has a huge impact on the quality of the soil.

The IHCAFE90 variety was made specifically for Honduras. IHCAFE abbreviation means Instituto Hondureňo del Café, which means Honduran Coffee Institut.
