There are 24 coffees from 24 different roasteries from 12 European countries, 20 grams of each coffee, perfect for one brew.
All coffees will be roasted for filter coffee.

After our two editions of the Specialty Coffee Advent Calendar, we are launching the third one!
As with all good Advent calendars, nobody will know which coffee is about to taste each day. Everything is hidden behind a classic peel-off window for every day.
In the calendar, you will find 24 tins with 20 grams of coffee beans from 24 different roasteries from 12 countries of Europe. Basic information such as origin, processing method, altitude, variety and roastery will be printed on each tin. You can turn to our website for detailed information on each coffee, together with a suggested recipe.
To ensure the maximal freshness possible, all the coffees will be roasted in the half of November. We are dispatching the calendars on 25th November.

Founders of this sweet roastery are two guys – Ondřej Štoksa and Jaroslav Slámečka. Ondřej gained his experience in roasting during his previous project – Kapitan Arabika. Jaroslav worked in many famous cafés in Prague, where he got into coffee so deep, that nowadays he is one of the Czech Barista Championship technical judges. If you have ever seen Candycane at some event, you must agree that the way they present their roastery is simply an unforgettable show.
The Rebelbean brand was established by Michal Stec in 2013, when the second of actual co-owners, Jan Špalek, was working in another roastery in Brno, where had been first Rebel beans roasted. So once Honza became a co-owner of the brand, they started hard work on their own roastery. The first coffee in their Rebelbean roastery in Jundrov district was roasted in April of 2017. Besides roastery, Michal, Honza and their team run two cafés in Brno.
Jokes Aside Coffee Roasters
This is a roastery of our friends – Alan and Kalliopé. They’ve been working as baristas in the world of specialty coffees for many years and now they have started their own roastery. You may know Alan from Instagram, where he runs the profile@50percentarabica, where he posts absolutely amazing coffee memes.
The head roaster Petr worked as an architect before he started roasting coffee as a hobby. After few years he left his job and runs a coffee roastery in full swing.
The first batch of roasted coffee was made in April 2014 in the reconstructed cow barn. From this moment the roastery was getting bigger and bigger.
Morgon Coffee Roasters
This roastery project is run by Gabriella Runesson, Markus Vestergaard and Christian Gullbrandsson. They are based in the Swedish lovely city of Gothenburg and their idea behind the roastery is very simple. They say „We’re not that special, we just work with specialty coffee“, and this is that idea. Their aim is to show people that specialty coffee is not rocket science and is for everyone! They want to roast great coffees and share stories of farmers with their drinkers.
This is another Swedish roastery coming from Helsingborg. It was founded in 2007 by Charles Nystrand and Anne Lunell. Anne won a Swedish brewers cup in 2016.
In 2016 they moved to a bigger space of 2000 m2 and this was the moment their roastery started getting bigger and bigger.
Split Coffee Roasters
Split coffee roasters was founded in 2020, opening its doors in August 2020. This project was founded by two friends that thought they could create something great.
Ivan and Matej have a lifelong coffee professional background in roasting, brewing and competing. Split Coffee Roasters is the culmination of their thoughts on where coffee service should be going, and also a starting point in many ways to bigger, industry-changing ideas.
This roastery comes from Krakow, Poland. It was established in 2012. One of the people involved in this roastery is Lukasz Jura, a world-famous judge.
Populus roastery is based in Berlin, but owners come from Finland. Populus is a family project of Henrik Haavisto and his wife Sari. This business is based on quality and direct trade. They are particular about direct contact with farmers they are buying coffee from, as well as with coffee shops where is their coffee brewed and sold. Besides the roastery, they also run a café in Berlin, where they have their own baked pastry, sandwiches and much more.
Fjord Coffee Roasters
Fjord Coffee Roasters is the second Berlin’s roastery in our calendar. They are one of the famous German roasteries. As they say, they are sourcing coffee of the highest quality possible with the aim of an unforgettable cup of coffee.
Five Elephant is a specialty coffee roastery, bakery and cafe in Berlin, Germany. They want to source the best coffees in the world in a way that is mindful of their environmental impact and thoughtful of the social impact of the communities who produce their coffees.
Illimité Coffee Roasters
This Slovak roastery was founded in 2014 by Lukáš Kubiny. He was studying at medical school to become a pharmaceutical assistant at the time. Because the world of coffee is as full of chemistry as the pharmacy is, he used his knowledge and started his own business in the field of coffee.
The story of this roastery started on Christmas in 2014. One of the Christmas gifts was a small popcorn machine and 1 kg of green coffee from Kenya. They started to experiment with this coffee just for home brewing and for their friends.
Then came a long period of studying more information about coffee roasting. After getting more information about this beautiful discipline, they bought the first roasting machine. From this moment they are growing and from the year 2017, this roastery is working in a full swing.
The Underdog is the only greek roastery in our calendar, based in Athens. People from Underdog have been roasting coffee since 2011, so they are very experienced coffee professionals. Together with the roastery, they run a café called The Rabbit Punch, in Athens as well. The owner of Underdog, Tasos Delichristos is a well known international coffee judge. Another involved person is Michalis Dimitrakopoulos, who has won 2016 World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship and is a runner-up of this year's World Barista Championship 2019.
Their roastery's secret weapon is the head roaster Johan Rohtla, who holds a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Baltimore. There are only a few roasteries in the world where the process is analysed down to a single millisecond or degree, developing the taste profile further each time. In addition, their roasting methods are designed by a world-class food chemist. Johan knows what is happening in the heated beans on a molecular level and studies the connections between caffeine content and roasting and brewing in his lab.
Cocóra Specialty Coffees
These people have gained all the experiences only from the bests including Joanna Alm from Drop Coffee, Sandra Azevedo, who is an SCA trainer or Scott Rao. Then they worked on themselves very hard and in 2017 established their own roastery. They placed 2nd in the Spanish Brewers Cup and 3rd in the Spanish Roasting Championship.
Nomad Coffee was founded by Jordi Mestre who spent 2 years as a barista in the best London cafés. Then he set up a “coffee on the wheels“ (movable, mobile) equipped with the coffee machine and grinder to drive around the city and sell coffee. In 2012 he won the Spanish Barista Championship and he placed 15th on the World Barista Championship. In 2014 the project Nomad Coffee Lab was born in Barcelona. After a while, Fran Gonzáles joined the team of Nomad.
Manhattan Coffee Roasters
The name Manhattan Coffee Roasters is inspired by the history of the harbor of Rotterdam - the Holland America line that sailed from Rotterdam to New York. Rotterdam is situated next to the river Maas and is the only modern city with a gorgeous skyline in The Netherlands, it is locally named “Manhattan aan de Maas”.
At Manhattan Coffee Roasters they want to celebrate local history, but also be open about their International aspirations.
White Label Coffee
White Label Coffee is the roastery from Amsterdam. They also have a café with the same name there.
Friedhats Coffee Roasters is a micro-roastery in Amsterdam. Their aim is to minimize the impact of its whole production on the environment. Lex Wenneker won The Dutch Barista Championship in 2015, 2016 and 2018. He placed 2nd at the World Barista Championship 2018 as well. Dylan Sedwick has been interested in the world of coffee since 2007. At that time he started to work as a repairer of the coffee machines. Since 2014 he has worked as a barista in Headfirst Coffee Roasters where he got to know Lex.
Sloane Coffee Roastery
Sloane Coffee Roastery is a Romanian roastery from Bucharest founded by Cosmin Mihailov and Teodora Pitis. Cosmin selects the best coffee for the roastery and Teodora takes care of the administration. Their roaster Bogdan Georgescu won a Romanian Coffee Roasting Competition 2019 and at the World Coffee Roasting Championship he placed 2nd.
Mabó Coffee Roasters
They started this extraordinary journey with one thought in mind: to choose and offer the best coffee.
They carefully select specialty coffees of the highest quality possible, which means that only ripe cherries are picked by hand and these lots can be easily tracked from the origin to your cup of coffee.
Bogdan Georgescu is the Romanian National Champion and World Roasting Vice-Champion.
He is responsible for the development of the roasting profiles to reveal the unique flavors and notes of every green coffee that captures his attention.
He is a perfectionist, that's why he tests each batch of coffee with several roasting profiles for a consistency of quality.
This roastery was founded in 2013 in Budapest. From the original 3-member team there are 2 members now. Coffee roasting was a hobby for them from the beginning and it became their passion and profession. There is nothing better than the combination of the full-time job and hobby, of what are these guys beautiful example.

Doplňková videa a popisy na webu chválím, každý den se bylo na co těšit. Samotné provedení kalendáře krásné, loňské kalendáře lze s minimem práce předělat na dětské; naši kluci byli z plechovek (a obsahu) nadšení.
